History:

I hate writing such self-indulgent prose, but here it goes. I was born to Richard and Susan Gallaher in the spring of 1975. My father was stationed in Hawaii during the Vietnam Conflict. We moved only after a month of two after my cranial surgery, and found ourselves in Seattle, Washington. My brother Andrew made his first appearance in December of 1976 during our dwelling in that rainy, miserable state. About 14 months later, we scurried off to Augusta, Georgia where my brother Ben was born. In 1981, we moved up north to Maryland, where my brother Daniel was born. Every time we changed states, it seemed like I got a new brother. Seemed a little suspect to me at the time.

In school, my aptitudes were history, psychology, literature, and theatre. During my senior year, I was accepted in the School of Visual and Performing Arts for my theatre savvy. One month into the program, I left. I was bored.

Originally, I thought I'd study Theatre in college, but it seems as though the field of Education was calling me. In an effort to undo the mistakes of my previous instructors, I soon became a special education teacher for the Maryland Public School System.

After four years of teaching, I found myself filled with this crazy urge to create stuff. On a whim, I cobbled penciled and inked my comic strip resume, which I faxed to Marvel Comics. The next day, I was offered an internship for their interactive department in New York City.

Eventually, I decided to take a freelance job with Marvel Interactive so that I could pursue other creative options, which included developing textbooks for McGraw-Hill and Sylvan Learning Centers, as well as developing advertising for companies like Verizon, Saturn, and Miller Brewing Company. Recently, I have taken to writing graphic novels and comics books.

Currently, I am a freelance writer and marketing consultant living in the Greater-Baltimore-Metro-Area.
